Vocalizing your dreams or goals is powerful and although people can talk a good game the important thing is to back it up with actions. So have a plan and set your intentions straight!
Often when the end of the year is around the corner we begin to reflect on those New Year resolutions we intend to achieve. Over the holidays with so much going on we get caught up in the rush and could forget to set resolutions that don't feel so out of reach. It’s easy to build a massive list of resolutions but I think it's best to set three realistic and achievable resolutions.
Here is how you can break it down. One (short-term goal) is something you can accomplish within the first three months of the new year. The second is something that with discipline and consistency you can achieve by six months from the start of the year. Think of it as your mid-year goal. Your third resolution is more of a long-term goal you can accomplish by the end of the year. Examples can be saving up a certain amount, hitting your target weight gain or loss, etc.
If you’re having a hard time thinking of resolutions here is a list below:
- Embrace body positivity
- Believe in yourself
- A financial goal
- Your dream partner
- To love yourself
- To land that dream job
- Pick up a new skill
- Visit a family member
- Build the courage to live abroad
- Start a new chapter
- Make a network of friends that feel like family
- Have children
- Adopting a rescue
- Buy your dream home
- To get accepted into a university of your choosing
Whatever may be your New Years' resolution we want you to believe in yourself and that you are capable of making your goals a reality. Remember to articulate your dreams, aspirations, and goals aloud because what you say is what you get.
