Hi, Hola Parce! I’m on a Mission Here…
Do you ever just get the urge to get up and leave somewhere fantastic? Well, I had this gut feeling calling me to Colombia about two months ago now I’m being indoctrinated into the culture, binge eating fruits all day long, behaving like the cliche tourist by obsessively taking photos, chasing after cute street puppies like a mad lady, and feel free to refer to me as Princesa de la Finca… why because every chance I have to leave the city and ride horses with the country folks I never ever pass up.
Who am I? Who I am? I am Who?
My name is Priscilla Ebedseir I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I work as a web designer and social media guru, based out of where ever there’s a mesmerizing view. Very cliche but I’d like to consider myself a citizen of the world. When I’m not working you can find me playing backgammon, practicing yoga, staring into a mirror, and building the courage to dance salsa, petting pups, and indulging in nature.
Best advice
My lifestyle has changed a lot recently, I was tied to so many things that no longer served me back in LA. What I mean is, not that it didn’t serve me, obviously having an apartment, a membership at my favorite yoga studio served its purpose. What I’m trying to say is it no longer aligned with what I wanted or my authentic self. So a piece of advice - you can’t buy time but you can buy an airplane ticket and see new horizons. Don’t feel so tied to material things or to society’s standard way of living, break out of your comfort zone or routine. If you live a life that’s authentic you will begin to notice life unfold and fall into place. ( typed up from a cute little cafe in Poblado, Medellin ;p ) You can thank Pergaminos americano coffee for giving me the heart-felt energy to write this!
What Colombia is all about
There is something so unique and fascinating about Colombian culture, the music, the food, the energy people have is so influential and addictive. Colombia is a colorful mix of habits and customs and each region gives its own twist and flavor. There is something so liberating about being here, and every day there is something new to discover.
My Favorite Luxury Designer Swimwear
I’ve been working with Mojito Swimwear Los Angeles for some time now, and they have given me the opportunity to creative direct some of their marketing campaigns. I’m so honored to be a part of the Mojito Swimwear family. I met Jessica the founder a while ago and we clicked from the beginning, we both come from similar backgrounds and believe in empowering other women, and bringing to the market sustainably made garments. When I shared with Jessica I wanted a shift in perspective by taking off to Colombia, she gifted me two of my favorite bikini sets, the Panama bikini set, and the Bali bikini set. It’s doesn't occur as often as I'd wish to be gifted uniquely designed boutique swimwear. I figured I’d make the most of it and take some cool off-the-grid pics!
This concludes this blog post from me to you!
Xoxo may the lucky stars aline for you and for me!
